Prof. Danscher:
"I consider the results that Hans Kjerkegård has found to be incredibly interesting, because they relate very well to what I have been doing. What I have found is that if you have metallic gold added into your body, that is, an implant, then gold is released from the implant. It dissolves very slowly, and then it is taken up by those cells which are vital for the body's way of reacting. For example, if you have arthrosis in a joint, then the patient knows, the joint is very painful. This pain comes partly because there is oedema around the joint. In the moment that gold comes in, it means, the oedema gets smaller, and therefore the pain from the joint also gets smaller."
